A subgenre of Drum & Bass set apart by its heavy use of acoustic instruments, ambient aesthetic, and emotional chords. It is typically 168-178 bpm and uses more harmonic and complex drum patterns than normal Drum & Bass. It has great influence from Jungle, Funk, and Trance. Although a very niche music type (It is a subgenre of a subgenre of EDM), there is still a very vast variety in the subgenre. There is a major difference in sound between mainstream Liquid producers (e.g. Wilkinson, Netsky, Maduk), more ambient-sounding artists (e.g. Hybrid Minds, Monrroe, Etherwood), and more quirky artists (e.g. Nu:Tone, Logistics).
