Strood Medway kent Living in Medway towns for a number of yrs mainly Strood where I find most people to be the friendly sort and at he same time not to intrusive keeping them self's to them self's the place is steeped with history going all the way back to the beginning of GB's recorded history with Castles , the second oldest cathedral in this country we got any amount of forts and untold amount of marine time firsts in the history books thers ship building going way back to the days of cannons and sail ships one of the biggest ships holding something like 50 cannons was built on the banks of Strood not chatham or rochester Yes Strood also i mite add Strood has the knights templer's Manor along thr River opposite the rochester Castle yes people Strood has its chaves ,Karen's and some druggies but believe me no more than the next town or city you can trust my ears you would be looking hard to find any of our streets full of so called druggies Strood is a save place for the elderly and also our children are safe to go out and play in the street last point you can travel by train from Strood to the center of london city (kingdcross) in as little as 35 mins so our Strood is perfect for those who want more from life while having to work in the city
