The acid scene a style, fashion, and/or behavior commonly mistaken for punk or goth. The acid culture revolves around techno and acid music (such as acid punk, acid jazz) and is nothing without it's colorful mask. It derived sometime in the late '80's and early '90's when techno first began to surface itself. Acid kids can mainly be found in highly electronic places such as raves, Las Vegas, New York City, and Harajuku Street, Tokyo. Although many people are part of this acid community, they never call themselves as such, and don't have very strict rules to their fashion at all.
