So basically they are shudras farmers and once the british came they came land ownership to the farmers working on the fields and their status rose slightly and so now they go around telling everyone we are jatts we are so special theres no one like us we are the most goodlooking, we only marry jatts.. Gurus were khatris yet you dont see khatris bragging about that. jatts are mostly uneducated because they were living in rural parts. they should get to earth right now their ego is too high.
