Yehu born in 2003, August 16 as Eyu Kassa is a computer programmer and multi-instrumentalist musician who grew up playing around with computers and musical instruments. With his passion for math and science, he decided to spend time with computers and hardware parts. By the age of 9, he started digging out all there is to learn about several programming languages. As time goes by Yehu with the help of his brother got introduced to music production. At the age of 11 with his prior knowledge of playing instruments, he dedicated his summer break time to learning music production and a little bit of sound design. He then started making beats specifically EDM, Tropical house beats, but he then quickly changed his production style to some of his favorite producers which led him to discover how to produce a hip-hop/trap beat and chop out samples from the 60s and 80s. These experiences led him to experiment with pop and jazz which in the long run affected his career. After joining the high school he began learning and experimenting with the infamous LoFi Hip-Hop music sub-genre, but after graduating from school in 2021 he wanted to play around with this sub-genre. He's passionate about music and wants to change how LoFi Hip-Hop/Chill-Hop or Jazz Hop is perceived commercially. He believes this can be done by experimenting with the sub-genre and by learning from Nujabes and J-Dilla. He believes this genre can be more than just a study/relax and chill music.
