Chiac/Chiak are a native Indigenous Acadian Creole people (or self-recognized ethnicity). Chiac is also a Creole dialect spoken in southeast New Brunswick, Canada. Which originates with the Chiac People of the region. Yet has similarities to Louisiana Creole and Haitian Creole.
