Lodhi/Lodi Khan is a Pashtun subtribe. They descend from the infamous Ruler of Persia, Ibrahim Lodhi and his family. Not to be confused with their Lodhi Rajput counterparts, who were those who migrated and stayed in India, those of the Lodhi Khan caste were those who remained in Afghanistan/Northwest Pakistan. Many of the Lodhi Khans have migrated east. Lodhi Khans are brave and patriotic people, who value family and their culture/roots. They speak various languages, including Pashto, Farsi, Balochi and different dialects of Saraiki.
