1. Acronym for "Did Not Fact Check." A disclaimer or part of a statement warning that no attempt has been made by the speaker to verify some associated content for correctness. It COULD (sarcasm) be used when the speaker wants to be honest about not having bothered to determine if their content is accurate or real. It MIGHT (sarcasm) help in avoiding giving credibility to questionable information, and/or damaging one's own credibility. 2. Acronym for "Did/Do/Does Not Fact Check" An accusation or part of a statement insinuating that someone failed or often fails to determine whether their content is accurate or real. It might be used for example to dismiss or discredit a statement, or shared online content.
