Sanaa is an arabic word found in the Quran. It is found in the chapter called "The Light." The Quran quotes that Sanaa is that which has the light flash of thunderstorms within her. When someone is named Sanaa, this word refers to her endurance because the light within her is so enduring that the Quran quotes: "The flash of the thunderstorm's light nearly takes away the eye sight." The endurance of the girl Sanaa nearly blinds you. She is strong and capable of vast efforts, makes good and lasting friendships and loves those close to her like her parents and relatives. The light of Sanaa emanates with a "brilliant light." Sanaa also means "a work of art" in Swahili.
