An offshoot of the word “corporate,” a derogatory term for someone who works for a big business and/or corporation and is just another “rat in the race.” An easy way to spot a corpo-rat is through their use of corpospeak, a pretentious jargon of weighty adjectives put next to simple nouns. Popularized by the game “Cyberpunk 2077.” Often refers to someone who works in a cubicle making six figures, yet is a vapid yuppie with no prospects outside of an already declining career, and is ultimately, an unhappy mess one takeout order away from a stroke.
