A "Frunk" is a trunk in the front of the vehicle. "Front" + "Trunk" = "Frunk" While cars and trucks with internal combustion engines have the engine in the front of the vehicle and a trunk in the back, electric vehicles do not have an engine in the front, so EVs like the Ford Mustang Mach-E or F-150 Lightning, turned this empty space into additional storage.
