Militant Atheism, also referred as New Atheism, Antitheism, Atheist Fanaticism, Atheist Fundamentalism or as Atheist Extremism, is an atheist ideology and a variant of atheism that supports that atheism should be spread worldwide and also supporting very violent and passive-aggressive arguments against religion and spirituality. It says to be against fanaticism, fundamentalism and extremism, despite promoting fanaticism, fundamentalism and extremism by themselves. Militant atheism is no different than religious fundamentalism and religious extremism and should be equally countered as religious fundamentalism and religious extremism.
