Pertaining to the concepts of reality and consciousness considering the possibility that one's and/or society's reality is fabricated. Simuology is a study of reality, developed by Christopher Foust, which suggests we live in a fabricated existence often perceived as a simulation or type of illusion. Simuology combines scientific and religious studies to find clues which help support the concept. The people who actively study Simuology are known as Simuologists.
