A Hood-Scholar is an [individual] that was born and raised among low income urban housing whether it be subsidized or public-sector housing that has been on both sides of the world. These individuals have gone beyond the walls from their own [neighborhood] to seek truth, wisdom, and purpose. They have experienced it all from dealing with cooperate suits to talking with hood relations, and institutions. With the ability to walk in any room and adapt to their constantly changing environments. They put family, honor, integrity,principles, and morales above anything else. With a desire to leave the world in a better place than where they have found it. A Hood-Scholar is a solid and reliable individual that has no problem helping those in need. When a leader is needed they will step up to the role. Hood-Scholars are heavy to “sticking to the script” unless those rules contradicts or threatens the principles of a humane and the betterment of humanity. Utilizing everything they have gained from all walks of life. They solve problems from the wisdom accumulated either thought books, [common sense], or [street smarts]. They [use] it all and apply knowledge to application. The knowledge they have toward life is expansive to anyone that decides to listen with an open mind and a open heart. Hood-Scholars are the hidden seeds of generational wealth and curse breakers within their family. They are the hybrid and the crosswords between the hood, and the [professional] world originating from the hood.
