SECUROLOGY. noun. The study of security; the study of being free from care. It is derived from the Latin word "securus" meaning "free from care" and the Greek word "logia" which means "study of". Securology” is the study of prevention of mishaps, how to react to them and how to investigate them if and when they occur in any type of human endeavor. It is the study on how to deter, detect, delay, deny, diffuse and document hazards and threats to defend one's resources.
