If someone was intent on seeking out the next Adam Lanza or someone like him, and they started their search with some guys on Lay Z Boy recliners, they're not going to come up with much. The more motivated the person, the more likely they are to act on the inherent capability/capacity that all humans have to kill. (We are all born serial killers deep below the surface facades, it's a matter of how likely someone is to act on it.) Serial killers and criminals aren't lazy people, they are motivated, perhaps excessively so.
