Zodiacs are divided into twelve equal divisions or signs, each occupying 30° of celestial longitude and roughly corresponding to the star constellations: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

Zodiac Signs are like people whose birthdays are in a certain month. They all have different names(signs) for each month (and sorta date, it's divided equally as there are 12 divisions/signs) there is in a year.

For example, October 23 - November 21 birthdays are called a "Scorpio", which has a meaning to the name, how Scorpios tend to act, their type of personality, and what type of division(element sign) they are.
