A person who uses both the terms bisexual and lesbian for a number of reasons, such as: 1. Having a complicated relationship with sexuality, being attracted to men and women, however having a stronger or more emphasized attraction to women that feels important. 2. Reclaiming the original definition of lesbian, simply meaning "queer attraction to women", since the current definition of lesbian as known today was largely made popular by radical feminists and lesbian separatists, who described bisexual women as "sleeping with the enemy", and thus denying their right to use the term lesbian itself. 3. A lesbian who would consider their attraction to nonbinary people and lesbians bisexual. 4. A lesbian who is attracted to women and men, but exclusively fictional men. There are a number of other reasons why someone would want to use the term bisexual lesbian to describe their attraction, and many historical sources are often cited as evidence to bisexual lesbians being a term that has always existed, many of which are compiled in bi-lesbian.carrd.co.
