1. Lacking or deficient in the sense of smelling. 2. A word used to describe individuals that cannot smell odors, pleasant or otherwise. 3. A word for nose-blindness that is actually it’s own word. Deaf - Nuft Deafer - Nufter Deafest - Nuftest Deafness - Nuftness Deafened - Nuftened (Silent ‘t’) Deafening - Nuftening (Silent ‘t’) If a form of “nuft” is required that is not listed here, refer to the form of “deaf” that most closely fits the situation and convert it to “nuft.” If this new form of “nuft” is difficult to pronounce, the ‘t’ is likely intended to be silent.
