Another word for the act of criminal torture known as the Judas Cradle, invented in Spain in the 16th century. The criminal is put in a waist harness and then positioned over a tall pyramid-shaped chair, known as the "Judas Chair." The point of the pyramid is inserted into the anus or vagina, and the criminal is slowly lowered onto it. This would put the criminal in astronomical pain by the large amount of pressure and stretching of the orifice. The torture could last hours, or even days. This would either cause indescribably excruciating pain and permanent damage to the body, or would kill them due to infection (the chair was never cleaned) and/or extreme damage to the body.
