Message Response Anxiety A form of anxiety triggered by by someone (the sender) having to wait a long time (5-7+ Hours) to receive a response to a text or DM. The person who received the original message (the recipient) is never at fault unless they consciously chose to view the message and consciously ignore it (a quick glance because of lack of time doesn’t count) however regardless of anything the sender does to fight the anxiety, the longer it takes to receive a response, the more anxiety, builds, ferments and rots away the sender’s mental well-being as they begin to visualize increasingly worse scenarios pertaining to why they haven’t received a response
