When someone behaves similarly to a rat, more specifically a “pack rat”. One example of being ratful is hoarding excessively even though you won’t be able to use all that you have gathered. Another would be getting excited when you are in the presence of a large amount of loot or making rat-like noises. Being ratful isn’t necessarily a bad thing nor does it mean you are greedy, it just means you possess rat-like tendencies.
