The mean of values surrounding the median. This can be either the mean of the 49th percentile and 51th percentile, or any combination of percentiles. For example the mean of the 25th and 75th percentile. If you have 5 values: 2, 4, 3, 1, 10 The mean is: 4 (the average value) The median is: 3 (the center value when sorted) The meandian (of the 25th and 75th percentile) is the mean of 1.75 and 5.5 which gives: 3.625.
