Referring to South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan, translated as NAVEL QUEEN. The term gained usage when Trisha debuted in 2003 with navel shows which attracted many indian audience and was picked up as one of the best navels in the world. In a time when navels (called Thoppul from now on) were either slim and trim like Simran, or fleshy and loose like Mumtaj (no offense meant to either actress, huge fan of both their thoppul), Trisha came in with her deep thoppul and trim hip and turned the entire film industry upside down! Even today, while people may talk about Tamanna’s hourglass figure, or Kajal’s milky colour, the only thing that one associates Trisha with is her “out of the world” thoppul! She started as a cute girl-next-door actress and soon let her thoppul take over the minds of all movie-goers!
