Yemima is the original Hebrew form of the biblical name Jemima. She is one of the three daughters of Job, along with Keziah and Keren-Happuch. They were the most beautiful women in the land. Yemima means “dove” (from Hebrew “jəmîmāh/יְמִימָה” or Arabic “yamama/الحمامة”). Besides, Yemima means “like the day” or “bright as day” (from Hebrew “jom/יום” = day/daylight).
