A persian name for women; meaning "like a fairy". Terminologically it was Pari+san ( first part means "fairy" and the suffix means "like"). It has been changed to Parisa through the time. Some people incorrectly interpret it as "like an angel" but, it is completely different. Fairies have magic, even though, angels do not have authority to do anything. Fairies are creatures between angels and humans
