My understanding of the ”simp” concept is someone (often a male) who compromises his dignity doing things above and beyond for a girl because he’s thirsty for sex. Examples can be: following someone in social media, leaving comments and acting like a servant to get a chance at sex, begging or paying for sex or nudes (e.g. camgirls, prostitutes or strangers on the internet). The point being is that “simps” do acts below the dignitiy they should have for somebody where the relation and affection is not reciprocal. Paying camgirls and prostitutes and going their errands is the prime example. In short, instead of being your own person with your opinions and values and acting with dignity you act like a subservient footman for somebody you don’t have any mutual relationship to. If you’re subservient and acting below your dignity in a relationship then you’re just ”pussywhipped”. On the contrary, not being a misogynistic little piece of shit (some on the internet are exactly that) and sometimes telling others they behave wrong towards a female is not in itself being a ”simp”. However, if you always take someone in defense whether they’re right or wrong because you’re thirsty for sex - that might be ”simping”. That is my best understanding of the “simp” concept, I hope it was a worthwhile read.
