The act of businesses, often travel related, where a person pays the same or more, but receives less, often using COVID-19 as a bogus excuse, when it doesn’t apply. Ex: Hotels cutting housekeeping, breakfast options and other perks; Airlines not hiring enough workers to handle irregular operations; restaurants using QR codes instead of printed menus or eliminating utensils, etc.
