Herpangina is a viral infection spread by the oral fecal route, such as by eating ass, not washing your hands after touching a surface touched by kids who also don't wash their hands, or possibly even by eating childrens' ass (not recommended as it is a felony in the entire civilized world, but you can probably do this in Thailand, I'm not a travel guide). It is usually caused by coxsackie A16 virus, for the sake of having a scientific name as ridiculous as calling a disease herpangina. It is encountered by adults mainly working in jobs they don't want to actually show up to, especially as an excuse to bail on social situations involving drinking, eating, or eating ass that you don't actually want to eat. Symptoms include ulcers at the back of the throat, possible headache, enlarged lymph nodes, and being a little bitch every time your friends try to invite you to have fun. Treatment is typically based on managing symptoms, while treatment from your friends involves getting made fun of for catching a kids' disease as an actual fucking adult, are you kidding me, wash your god damn hands.
