Athiest is the opposite of a common theist. Atheism is the absence of moral theology. Theists typically can be found singing songs on 7th day of the week about a bearded legend who is obsessed with them. Theists believe in many options though, including but not limited to Buddha, Jesus, John, Guru Nanak, The Genie of the Lamp, Confucius, but not Santa Clause, he's a lost cause.
