Prolonged micro-agression and micro-aggressive behavior toward a specific individual or group of individuals. Micro-harassment is not being asked a few questions here and there about background, culture, and ancestry. Micro-harasment includes very hurtful statements and actions or lack of action towards a specific individual for a reason that is deemed obvious to only the person or group perpetrating the harassment. The reason for the Micro-harassment is based on bias, racism, prejudice, generalizations, stereotypes, assumptions, or other source of disdain for the targeted person(s). The target usually has no awareness of what the reason is or what prompted the reasoning. The target usually can not change whatever prompted the harasser's reasoning. Micro-harassment is often undectable to anyone who isn't experiencing it presently or experienced it previously. Micro-harassment is detrimental to a target's mental, physical, and emotional health.
