Similar to the concept of a White Hat Hacker, that being that the hat denotes the morality or motive for their actions in a mere garment of clothing, Fedora Hat Moderators are Moderators (whether that be Discord, Twitch, or hell if they are desperate enough, Youtube) whose sole purpose for moderating is to hopefully be in a relationship with the person they are serving. Usually, when the platform the moderator is moderating for is Twitch, the person in question may also purchase a "Tier 3 Subscription" from the person they are serving. The key weakness of a Fedora Hat Moderator is for the streamer to get a partner, usually, when they are struck by the realization that they have spent money and time on someone who ultimately won't be the partner of the streamer, which should have been realized from the beginning, they will go on the social media platform "Twitter" and complain about how they wasted their time, usually revealing their scummy intentions. Emphasis on the "cummy" part of that word.
