A car brand originating from the United Kingdom, founded in 1901. A few cars they make include the Wolseley Hornet, the Wolseley 15/60, the Wolseley 16/60, the Wolseley 6/80, and the Wolseley Tourer. They were acquired by British Motor Corporation (BMC) in 1952, and went defunct after their last 2 cars; the Wolseley 1800 and Wolseley 2200, based on the Leyland Princess, received abhorrent reviews in 1975. They still survive today as a name-only unit of SAIC Motor of China.
