An indigenous inhabitant who is given privileged access to rank and resource because of their ethnicity and hereditary relations. The occurrence is most pronounced in nations of strong economic development where the native ethnicity is a minority, or near minority. The überbünzli, due to lack of challenge and experience in life, are often underqualified to the positions they hold and arouse indignation among migrant population who are meritocratically more fit. The word's etymology derivates from the Swiss surname, "Bünzli", which is also a diminutive attributable to certain indigenous Swiss inhabitant's xenophobic, pedantic and philistine tendencies.
