United States 3rd Party Originally called the Taxpayers Party, the Constitution Party’s name was coined in 1999, but technically founded in 1992. The Constitution party’s platform consists of strong social conservatism, mostly Laissez-Faire Capitalism, and a non-interventionist (or isolationist to detractors) stance on foreign policy. Like practically every 3rd party in the United States, the Constitution Party has improved their takings in the 2004 presidential election.
