A social paradox wherein the population becomes deceived into thinking that by pressing a “like” or a “share” they are physically contributing to change when in fact nothing is changing with the exception of a further increase of awareness of that topic. Also known as: “Ease of accessibility paradox” - fueled by apathy, laziness & the ability to press like or share & feel as if they’ve contributed to any change.
