i am transgender male :) you were born as a gerl or a boi and you didn’t feel comfortable in your own body and didn’t feel like that gender so you adjusted some stuff to be more your liking, that being the opposite gender. you also choose a different set of pronouns to go by and some or rather most people like to choose a new, and suiting name to be known as. now, if a transgender person chooses to go by certain pronouns and a specific name, this does NOT give ANYONE permission to purposely dead name them (call them by their birth name) or misgender them (call them by the wrong pronouns.) if you don’t know what pronouns are, it’s what you specify someone’s gender in a sentence, such as, ‘he, she, him, her, his, hers’ and since im a transgender male meaning biologically i was born as female and with female organs, but transitioned to being a boi, my preferred pronouns are he/him. so when you say, “she went to mcdonald’s” and you are referring to me, pls say this instead, “he went to mcdonald’s.” thank you so much :)) ❤️
