Allosaurus is sometimes used as a term for Neurotypicals who defend ableism, or things that directly result in ableism, Neurobias, non-inclusivity, and related issues due to a resistance to change or other traditionalist values. The perception or one as an Allosaurus is that the problem likely stems from the person being stuck in the past. In rare cases, a Neurodivergent projecting internalized ableism from Neurotypicals onto other Neurodivergents might also be referred to as an Allosaurus. While the term is derived from the common rootword "Allos" in Allosaurus and Allistic, suggesting a focus on Autism.
