Being a simp is basically an obsessive-compulsive mental disorder. This is closely related to a currently recognised mental disorder known as “Celebrity Worship Syndrome”, being a simp is essentially the same thing, but without the celebrity part. A person who is a simp will likely act illogically, an example being a man who gives a woman an excessive amount of money with little to nothing in return. A simp will likely display a lack of common sense and rationality, such as a married man who needs to support a family, but instead using his money on OnlyFans subscriptions. Simps are usually males, but it isn’t always the case. Someone suffering from being a simp should seek help, such as a therapist. Especially in cases in which they spend money they require for other essential needs. Once a simp begins to devoid themselves of necessity’s, they WILL need help. Almost everyone who shows signs of “simping” is also likely to be suffering in some regard, such as having depression. Please note: this word is overused, and is rarely used correctly.
