Not from this town but lived there for a few years and my family has lived there for a while. I have never experienced so many cold shoulders from people who I really just wanted to introduce myself to in an attempt to meet some new people in this town. I just don't understand what the need is for such judgment and arrogance. It's honestly pretty entertaining. I've lived in ALOT of places and this one tops the list. It seems a lot of folks here are up on their high horse- wish they'd come down, because no one likes that no matter who you are or what you've done. The town is claiming to be stigma-free but is banning skateboarding... not to mention a bunch of other town decisions that clearly prove hypocrisy is thriving, but no accountability on that front. What's the deal with that?..🥱 Also, I've seen members of this town arguing frequently out by the docks and boardwalk. If you're not in their 'club', there are people here that will make you know it. Prove me wrong Sparta. Let's see the change in real life. I'm providing my first-hand experience to help highlight issues so they can be fixed, this has been a long-standing town reputation. Let's all come to terms with the reality here, its the first step in solving any problem because I know there are nice people in this town, just not enough of them.
