A cripplejack is a hand job received from somebody with varying disabilities to the arm or hand. It can also include somebody who had a medical device or cast or brace on their arm or hand. The maneuver must be performed with the impaired limb to qualify as a cripplejack. The gratitude is derived from either the varying in sensation due to the medical devices present or due to the obscure nature of receiving relief from an undexterous hand. If there is swapping out between impaired and unimpaired limbs it will then become a semi-cripplejack. This is less prestigious.
