Ooooooh! I'm so annoyed people keep getting this definition wrong! Nutty Slack is a hard toffee containing Brazil nuts and or peanuts. I was trying to explain to my daughter what it was and she thought it was a swear word, Back in the day you were dammed lucky if you got a small piece in your Christmas stocking for Christmas. Although it is true that the nut would be almost whole when you had a poo but surely that was a small price to pay.
