Jon Lach, born on April 3, 2001, is an Independent Rapper, Singer, Producer, and Motivational speaker from Grand Rapids, Michigan. The genres of music he makes are Hip hop music, and Alternative R&B. He started writing music at the age of 13. He had a rough life growing up. He grew up with his father being out of the picture for most of his childhood, and when he was 6 years old his mother got addicted to drugs which made him and his older brother end up in foster care. He has been in and out of foster care throughout his life. He has struggled with depression, anxiety, drug addictions, abusive homes, and much more. When he was 15, he was homeless, and on the run for a month. When he was 16 his girlfriend committed suicide in front of him. Starting at age 13, he would turn to writing music as a way of therapy to cope with the struggles of his life. He wants to change the world, and inspire others through his art, and his message. He has created a movement called Sleepless. It's called sleepless because he has spent so many long nights putting in hard work because his dreams are worth more than his sleep. The goal of the sleepless movement is to spread love, inspire people to chase their dreams, and to use his gifts/talents to help others, ultimately to make the world a better place.
