NOSAM is the alias of American DJ & producer Nicholas Wright. Born in Laguna Beach and based in Los Angeles, Wright produces genres such as Dance, Alternative dance, Electronic, and Future bass. He cites artists such as Blink-182, Eiffel 65, Linkin Park, Gorillaz, and more as his inspiration for producing music. In 2011, Wright got his foot in music production when he downloaded a mobile version of Fruity Loops on his iPad. In 2012, he began working with legitimate production software on his dad's old work computer going under the name "NOSLEEPAFTERMIDNIGHT" he later abbreviated his name into "NOSAM". Three years later, his online popularity surged after creating a Vine account in which his videos received over 24 million total loops to date. In 2016, Wright’s popularity saw a meteoric rise after winning Borgeous & tyDi's remix competition for "Wanna Lose You", resulting in a official release with Armin van Buuren's imprint "Armada Music"
