A 1980's British New Wave band fronted by jack hues.also with Darren costin and Nick feldman. Prior to wang chung hues was in a band called "57 men". Although the origins of the bands name is in dispute 2 of the most prevalent theories are: 1 wang chung is the sound a guitar makes and 2 Wang Chung means "yellow chime" in chinese. Probably the most recognizable song of theirs is "dancehall days". Wang Chung also did the soundtrack for William h friedkin s movie "to live and die in la" they are still touring small venues to this day.
