1. A derogatory term, or the equivalent of the "N-word," for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who are often falsely accused of worshipping Mormon. (See definition 2 below.) 2. A historical figure accepted as a prophet (by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) who abridged records containing accounts of Jesus Christ from two sets of plates. This abridgment was translated into what is known as The Book of Mormon.
