Vadim Blyat is both the neighbor of and the archenemy of Boris Borisivich Borislav. Vadim Blyat drills holes in his wall for presumably wall carpets, and steals Boris' Sosig. He is a western spy and never got on good terms with Boris. Cousin Anatoli doesn't seem affected by Vadim Blyat, as he probably lives in a different place. After Boris moved to Saint Petersburg, he stated that Vadim Blyat followed him from Estonia.
