I feel bad for Rat, so it's time to fix his lore. A rat in the kitchen is a pest that poisons/taints the food with it's filth. A rat in the home is a smart, affectionate, lucky charm. Course, that's only if you keep it clean. A rat in reference of a person is someone who corrupts the home with filth, lies, manipulation, abuse, and because they are vermin, they won't stop eating. Instead of thinking of a snitch, think of someone who lies while switching between two people so they can get away with stealing things while the others are too paranoid to trust each other.
