Hello Kitty is a popular fictional Japanese White Bobtail cat created by the animation company Sanrio. As to popular urban legends, some say she is a demonic cat because she has no mouth, which is 100% false. Sanrio has stated she has no mouth because she speaks from the heart. Her appearance usually consists of a big red or pink bow on her left ear, a yellow or light blue shirt with red or dark blue overalls with buttons. She also has a dark yellow colored nose. Hello Kitty (her actual name is Kitty White) is a sweet, caring, friendly, fun loving cat. She loves her mother's apple pie, her twin sister Mimmy, and her friends My Melody, Kerokerokeroppi, Bad-Batz Maru, and Chococat. Hello Kitty was originally created in 1974 by Sanrio, a Japanese animation company. Her fist appearance was on a PVC coin pouch. She made her debut in the United States in 1976. She is an anthromorphic cat - or a cat that behaves much like a human. Hello Kitty has appeared on many toys, and various other things throughout her existence, as well as collaborations with other popular cultures for merchandise such as Naruto: Shippuden, Nissin Cup Instant Noodles, My Hero Academia, and many more.
