Wordplay on the Italian intermezzo. It is like a check-in but in the middle of a meeting instead of the beginning, to make peoples "inner messy" processes visible. The idea is that sharing thoughts and feelings when something for example feels "bad", can create a better understanding between individuals and allow them to move past negative perceptions to create a better outcome of the meeting.
